CGCS, LLC AND SCOTT ZAKANY Championship Golf Course Services (CGCS, LLC)and CGCS, LLC d/b/a/ Championship Landscape Services is proud to announce its President and CEO, Scott A. Zakany. Prior to December 2008, LLC, Mr. Zakany was a co-founder of International Golf Maintenance (IGM) in 1994, where he served as President of one of the world’s largest golf course company. CGCS, LLC and CGCS, LLC d/b/a/ Championship Landscape Services is based out of Sarasota, Florida with branches in Ft. Myers, Florida. Mr. Zakany has the vision, experience and drive to achieve higher levels of growth for the Company. CGCS,LLC is happy to have Mr. Zakany who carries over 28 years of green industry involvement and has experience at over 300 golf/landscape facilities in three countries. Mr. Zakany has been a Certified Golf Course Superintendent, as designated by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, for over 22 years and currently serves on the industry Advisory Board at Lake City Community College’s School of Golf Course and Landscape Operations. Mr. Zakany is a member of the Top Agronomic Officers Advisory Board that works in conjunction with the National Golf Course Owner’s Association and he also serves as the Agronomic Counsel for the Golf Course Business Consultants Group (CGBC) which is a professional organization that provides owners and operators with golf course related services and advice. Mr. Zakany has an Associate of Science Degree in Golf Course and Landscape Operations from LCCC and is an active member of several advisory organizations and groups.
